LES EDITIONS DIMITRI CHOSTAKOVITCH (DSCH) ont pour principales missions la publication des oeuvres méconnues du grand compositeur, celles qui n’ont pu être publiées ni jouées par le passé pour des raisons idéologiques, ainsi que la préparation de nouvelles parutions de ses oeuvres plus connues, basées sur les manuscrits originaux.

Les partitions sont accompagnées de notes explicatives, de commentaires et d’analyses, en russe et en anglais.

Parmi les publications les plus importantes qui ont vu le jour, citons les arrangements pour piano des trois grands ballets de Dimitri Chostakovitch, composés de la fin des années 20 au début des années 30 : « L’Age d’Or », « Le Boulon » et « Le Clair Ruisseau », un pamphlet satirique dirigé contre Staline, Jdanov et Kroutchev « Antiformalistique Raïok », ainsi qu’un opéra en un acte pour enfants « Histoire du souriceau stupide »

Parmi les publications les plus récentes, citons les sonates instrumentales de D. Chostakovitch, notamment la sonate pour violoncelle, publiée pour la première fois avec les doigtés et les coups d’archet de Mstislav Rostropovitch, la sonate pour violon (partie de violon dans la rédaction de David Oïstrak), et la sonate pour alto, dont la partie d’alto a été rédigée par Fédor Droujinine.

Les Editions DSCH ont publié le retirage de l’opéra « Lady Macbeth (1935) en réduction pour piano, dans la première rédaction du livret en russe et en anglais, devenu depuis longtemps une rareté bibliographique.

Les Editions DSCH ont commencé la préparation d’une nouvelle collection des « Oeuvres complètes de Dimitri Chostakovitch » en 150 volumes, qui comprendront les oeuvres connues du compositeur, ainsi que ses compositions plus rares ou jamais publiées à ce jour.
